  They give you quite a lot of food so that's always a good thing. I've been here 2-3 times now and have really enjoyed their food. It's Indonesian cuisine so expect it to be somewhat on the spicy side- which makes it especially good.
  
  The "Volcano Rice" is a real tongue and tummy burner! It's great. Honestly, I can't recall the names of the other dishes, aside from their numerical assignments on the menu: # 20 & # 21 ( ... I think).
  
  We tried some of their appetizers from the display counter which had more of a Dutch (probably) influence and they weren't too bad either. We also had a milky, shaved ice dessert with pieces of jackfruit, tapioca and such. All good.
  
  The lady / server at the front is very friendly, sweet and smily-faced.

  The place itself is right on the street so it's easy to find. Street parking also available most of the time.
  
  We came here twice. First time we ordered Soto Betawi, es cendol and fried rice. My husband liked the fried rice. The soto betawi tasted just alright. It was more broth than the filling.
  
  Second time we ordered Nasi Padang. I was not sure if that was how they liked the flavor to turn out,but the veggie curry, chicken curry, and sambal ijo tasted like they were kinda spoiled already.

  First impressions when I come in, theres a lot of Indonesian Magazine in front of the door and other brochures that looks annoying and untidy. The place looks just fine until I sit down and see the napkin box dusty. But it's fine. The decoration is unique just like the name, they have a painting of banana leaf.
  
  The service is great. The big guy is friendly and they serve really well. The food taste ok, gado gado peanut sauce taste a bit like rujak but still eatable. Pempek taste ok. And the ayam penyet is great! Love it.

  This is a mom and pop shop. Service was slow and I assumed it is because it's family-run so they are somewhat understaffed. The air conditioning didn't seem to be working well so the restaurant felt stuffy and warm. We ordered 3 different dishes to share. The portion were generous, the taste, however varied. The Roti Prata was greasy and didn't have layers. It wasn't fluffy or crispy. I probably wouldn't order this again.  The Kwetiau Goreng was decent, but more on the bland side. It could probably use a bit more of the dark soy sauce or hot sauce for taste.  Lastly, the Laksa was my favorite dish here, it was flavorful and not overpowering in curry flavor. Lots of chicken pieces in there, so they didn't skimp that's for sure. Food here reminded me of homecooking- comfort food but inconsistent in taste at times.

  I thought it was really good. I got the Nasi Padang. Presentation was very nice. The rice was in the middle, shaped like a tower (mini nasi tumpeng). Around it was curry chicken, curry veggies, balado egg, sambal tomat ijo, and beef rendang. Spicy but soo soo good. Flavor burst.
  
  Very friendly people working there. I'd be back!!!!
  
  Their Nasi Ayam Penyet looked so good and crispy. That's for next!
